About

Ellie Scott

A painter working in oil, acrylic, watercolour and print, with a studio practice and a fondness for the in-between hours of the day.

Ellie Scott makes work that feels collected rather than produced — landscapes, still lives and commissioned pieces with the grain of analog photography and the patience of looking for a long time.

The paintings lean towards rust, cream and the green of late summer. They are intended for real rooms: not a gallery white cube, but the wall beside a window, or the space above a table that gets used.

Alongside originals and a small print edition, Ellie takes on commissions — portraits of houses, gardens, and the places people want to keep. Commissions are made to order and priced independently.
